Lisa Brodsky is a Minnesota-based writer and public health practitioner whose work engages folklore, family history, and the everyday rituals we use to navigate uncertainty. She is currently completing a creative nonfiction manuscript that weaves essays and lyric narratives around superstition, remembrance, and care. She holds a Master of Public Health and is completing her MFA in Creative Writing at Hamline University. She was a two-time winner of the Patsy Lea Core Awards for poetry and has published numerous poems in several literary journals, including Otherwise Engaged, 2022, The Talking Stick, and The MockingOwl Roost. She is also a reader for Trio House Press.
